What to include
Please include your Confluence Cloud site URL, the page URL if you can share it, your browser and operating system, which surface you used (the byline item under the page title or ⋯ → Apps), the numbering format you chose, whether automatic updates are on, and what you expected to see instead. If the numbers came out wrong, a list of the page's heading levels in order is usually enough to reproduce it. Please don't attach confidential documents to support emails.
Before you write in
The documentation covers the common cases: numbers appearing a few seconds after a publish rather than instantly, headings outside the chosen level range being skipped, and a heading showing two numbers because one of them was typed by hand.

For privacy, data handling, or security questions, use the same support email and include enough context for the request to be routed correctly.
