Terms of Use
These terms cover use of Numbered Headings for Confluence, a Confluence Cloud Forge app that numbers page headings by writing the numbers into the page.
Use of the app
You may use the app to number the headings of Confluence pages your organization permits you to edit, and to remove that numbering again.
The app edits your pages
Numbering is applied by editing the page: the numbers become ordinary heading text, each change creates a new page version attributed to the app, and Confluence notifies page watchers as it would for any other edit. Where you switch automatic updates on, later publishes may produce further edits by the app. You are responsible for deciding which pages that is appropriate for, including pages under change control or subject to approval workflows.
User responsibility
Heading numbers are text, not a formal document-control system: they do not version, approve, or govern a document. Because Confluence derives heading anchors from heading text, numbering or renumbering can change anchors, and links pointing at a specific heading may need updating. Review the preview before applying, and keep your own backups or page history practices for documents that matter.
Availability
The app is provided on an as-available basis. Atlassian Confluence Cloud, Forge platform behavior, Marketplace licensing, or workspace permissions may affect access to the app.
Licensing and billing
Paid subscriptions, trials, and billing are handled by the Atlassian Marketplace under Atlassian's terms. License state is evaluated inside Confluence; no payment data is handled by the app itself.
Data handling
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. The app runs entirely inside Atlassian's infrastructure, with no external service calls, and stores only its own per-page numbering settings.

Confluence, Atlassian, and Forge are trademarks or products of Atlassian. Numbered Headings for Confluence is not endorsed by Atlassian unless explicitly stated in an official Marketplace listing.
